Finally, an SLR!

Me and my wife finally got what we had wanted to buy for the past 2+ years… an SLR camera! We bought a Nikon D40 kit last weekend… OK, so it’s not even a midrange offering (in fact, it’s the lowest range SLR) but it’s a step up from our previous camera, a Fuji FinePix S620Z prosumer digicam.

When my wife went to Taiwan a few month ago, she bought me a pair of these in-ear earphones or canalphones). Which is nice, because since my Sennheiser HD570 hifi headphones died due to my own stupidity, I have no good head/earphones to listen to. All I could find at my house were some old Sony earbuds that came with Discmans and mp3 players.

If you guys regularly use Oracle Database 10g in your XP machine, then you’ll definitely realize that Oracle DB tends to leave shit lying in your system when you uninstall it. These remnants of the database installation will sometimes create problems with your XP system. Leftover registry keys will cause problems when you’re reinstalling Oracle DB.
