When I was in San Jose, I stayed at Ramada Limited Santa Clara. It’s a motel-type accommodation, which looks like places where serial killers, drug dealers, and mistress-bangers do their dirty deeds. Of course, my observation comes from watching countless B-movies. So what kept me safe while I was staying there?

A sign on my door telling people not to molest me…

So it has been a few days into the year 2008. Many things in my life have changed, yet still more changes need to be done. But I’m happy for the what has happened over the year.
The biggest event of the year for me was definitely the arrival of our lovely baby daughter in April. When I first saw her, I was amazed at how beautiful and perfect she was and I kinda wondered how someone like me could produce an angel like her. Me & wife were so scared ...

Last weekend, we brought little Ayra back to my wife’s hometown at JB & Singapore. Ayra now has officially used her passport for the 1st time! We originally planned to go back on the Malaysia National Day weekend, but decided on an earlier date because we anticipated that there’ll be a massive traffic jam on the North-South Highway.
As usual, upon entering Singapore I’ll start to notice the difference in the general atmosphere of the 2 countries. It’s not hard to see that Singapore is generally much cleaner and organized and ...

Nowadays me and the wife don’t go out much. We could just hang out at home watching little Ayra do whatever she does. Even watching her sleep makes us smile. Looking at her having a good rest makes us realize how much joy she has brought into our lives. The feeling is evident throughout the household… whenever we bring Ayra out from the room, my parents and siblings will go “Ayraaaaaa!” and everyone wants to kiss and hug her. My youngest brother who is 8 spends the most time with ...

We took Ayra out today. First we went to Avenue K (the shopping complex right in front of KLCC) because we wanted to get some toys for Ayra and a friend’s son. The Toys R Us over there was having a clearance sale of up to 70%. But the store was small… one of the smallest Toys R Us I’ve ever been in. They do seem to get smaller and smaller eh? Or is it because we’ve grown from being the excited little kid browsing through the nirvana of toys.
I ...
