whoahhh! i just realized that FLStudio 7 has been released for several weeks already! but it’ll definitely eat up more resources than its predecessors so i think i’ll pass on this one, for now.
From Synthtopia:
Image Line Software has announced the release of its complete music production environment, FL Studio 7.
According to the company, Chief Software Architect, Didier Dambrin has realized his vision of creating an open-architecture virtual studio environment where the only constraint on the users is their own imagination. This philosophy is reflected in FL Studio 7’s flexible audio ...

So now you’ve got your own drum track. You can proceed to record guitars with it, but a band still needs a bassist. Even though a bassist of a band is often overlooked in the entertainment world, his/her roles are very important. Bassists provide the low frequency that ties the groove of the drums and the rythm of the guitars. A band without a guitarist sounds better compared to a band without a bassist, you know.
Open up the project that you created in the first tutorial. You should have the ...

Loading the samples
First, go to File>Templates and click on ‘Realistic’. That should load the default template for the drum kit. If there are no ‘Realistic’ template listed, you have to start with an empty template and load the individual samples yourself.
To start a template from scratch, go to File>Templates and click on ‘empty’. Then open the Browser (F8) ond browse to Packs>RealDrumkits. There you can find a whole lot of samples for almost every single instrument on a drum kit. For simplicity purposes, we will only use a few basic ...

In these tutorials, I will use Fruityloops Studio Producer Edition 4.52. I will use only samples that are bundled with the application, so no additional files need to be downloaded to your PC. If you use a different version of Fruityloops, don’t despair. But if you’re like me who dive into things without going over the instructions, read on.
