Strobing in Taman Metropolitan, Kepong

Last week Tony invited me to a photography outing in Taman Metropolitan Kepong. I didn’t know where the hell that was, but apparently it’s a favorite spot for kite-flying and family picnics. Luckily I managed to get there without getting lost on the way… enough time to get the afternoon sun. When I arrived, the others (Tony & wife, Kichi, Tini, Nabil, Nadia) were already there shooting.

I brought my light stand and SB-600 to sit among the other 4-5 speedlights. However, we didn’t use all of them. Only about 3 were constantly used. Tony wanted to have pregnant family pics, so we made some setups that portray his wife’s bulging belly.

After that we had the usual lompat-lompat jumping pics. This time the theme was ‘Kung Fu Fighting’. Kichi is the hero, while me & Nabil became the bad guys… the pics were from Tony:

_dsc5395The outing was a lot of fun! There were loads more pics in the other guys’ cameras… dunno if I’ll ever see them heheh… Let’s see what activities we can come up with for 2009.
