last monday, weween gave yanz a list of companies (and contact details) that she could look at to find a new job. yanz emailed her resume to one of the companies through one of the emails that weween had provided. she assumed that was the HR guy.

on tuesday, the guy replied back, saying that he’d like yanz to come for an interview on the next day. the guy’s name is EC (bukan nama sebenar). yanz searched the net for more info on the company (OPC) and she was bloody surprised to find that the guy who she emailed was the Executive Director of the company! along with mm (big boss of opc), he’s one of malaysia’s top 10 richest men!

on wednesday, yanz went to the office which is located at the penthouse on one of the blocks at Plaza Mont Kiara. the filthy rich ec was also there. after an hour or so of plain talk, they gave a positive feeling to yanz and said that they’ll get back to her on friday. an hour later, one of the interviewees called yanz, asking her to meet up with him to discuss further. then he told her… she’s hired!!!

what amazed me was that this company does not usually entertain people who come for interviews, even if they got 1st class from oxford. their modus operandi is to ‘kidnap’ employees of well-known establishments who have great track records. i guess yanz’ personality helped her a lot during the interview…

my baby, the engineer. i’m sooo proud! guess when we get married, i’ll stay home and watch the kids while she goes out membanting tulang to feed us hahaha!
